To celebrate 14 years, we thank you for supporting our $14 for 14 Years Campaign!

As we celebrate our 14th year, BDA is preparing for its next chapter. Our immediate needs include approximately $224,000 in essential repairs to our school building, as well as start-up funding for an Early Childhood Learning Center. This new program will not only serve young children and families in our community but will also help BDA develop a more sustainable source of income for the future.

Boston DREAM Academy offers a Christ-centered, college-preparatory education for underserved students in grades 7–12, in a diverse, inclusive, and nurturing environment. We never turn away students due to financial hardship—your support helps us continue transforming lives. All contributions are 100% tax-deductible in accordance with applicable laws.

How You Can Make a Difference

Capital Fund: Join us as we work to replace our roof, soffits, gutters, and improve the external structure of our building. These updates are essential for creating a safe, inspiring space where students can thrive and grow.

Scholarship and Program Funds: Your donations goes directly to student scholarships, educational programs, and essential resources, ensuring that every student has access to the tools they need to succeed.

Volunteer Opportunities: Make a hands-on impact by donating your time and skills! Opportunities include:

Mentoring or chaperoning students
Maintaining and updating our website and social media
Grant writing or administrative support
Providing professional services like carpentry, plumbing, or landscaping
Assisting with our weekly student-prepared lunches

Additional Ways to Support Boston DREAM Academy

At Boston DREAM Academy, we rely heavily on the generosity of volunteer staff and supporters like you, who share their time, talents, and resources.. In fact, during our first two years, we operated without any paid staff—just the dream of empowering youth to lead meaningful, fulfilling lives of service and to be a positive force for good in their homes, churches, and communities. Volunteers and donors like you are the lifeblood of our mission, enabling us not only to exist but to thrive and grow.

While monetary donations are invaluable, there are countless other ways to help us continue our work and support our amazing students. Every contribution, whether time, skills, or resources, makes a meaningful difference.

Support Through Donations

Donate bottled water, fruits and vegetables, healthy snacks, or food items for our weekly school lunch.
Provide school essentials such as printing paper, printer ink cartridge, clearing supplies and other educational materials.
Donate equipment like laptop computers, printers, and other technology for learning and our future innovation/STEAM lab.
Donate sports equipment for our Gym and fitness area, including Ping pong rackets and balls.

Volunteer Your Time and Skills

Mentorship: Guide and inspire students by becoming a mentor, helping them build confidence and set meaningful goals.
Tutoring: Provide academic support in areas such as Math, English, Science, History, Languages and ESL.
Share Your Expertise: Offer professional skills in:
- Plumbing
- Electrical work
- Carpentry
- Painting
- Landscaping / snow removal
- Interior design
- IT, coding, or robotics for our innovation/STEAM lab.
- Choir, Guitar and Steelpan conductor
Chaperoning: Supervise and support students on field trips and extracurricular outings.
Transportation Assistance: Help facilitate transportation for students and staff for school events, trips, or other activities.

Special Project Involvement

Volunteer in our prospective innovation/STEAM lab, creating hands-on opportunities for students to explore and innovate.
Assist with critical building repairs, including replacing the roof, soffits, gutters, and addressing urgent plumbing needs, painting and carpentry.
Help develop and implement programs that turn our building into a safe space and resource for the community outside school hours.

Spiritual Support

Pray for the continued success of BDA, our students, staff, volunteers and community.
Share our mission with your church or faith community, encouraging others to get involved.

Other Ways to Help

Sponsor a student, providing tuition assistance or covering essential educational expenses.
Organize or host a fundraiser or friend-raiser to support our capital campaign or scholarship fund.
Partner with local businesses or organizations to create internship opportunities for our Senior Capstone experience.
